You are the Gift

We have been mining the gold and silver,

refining it, weaving it into older treasures to be kept

amidst the releasing of fragments of

ancient wounds and rusted, no longer worthy beliefs..

Listening to the deeper story

of our soul’s reasons

for being here now, a brightening of gems

hidden in the shadows now reveals

what was waiting for the perfect moment

we would hear that unmistakable sound..

Wait no longer beloved, you are here standing,

standing where something in you always wanted to stand

but were afraid.  The sound a gentle vibration

of calm reassurance, a serene trust,

heart prepared and open

a brilliance even you never thought possible

coming from your own being.

Yes, you’ve seen it in others before, feeling perhaps this light

was not meant for you.  Now do you see? 

That was your sister or brother of light, showing you how your ordinary heart is also divine,

as you let go of the fear and embrace

your own heart shining in its inexplicable beauty.

All the years, the heartbreaks, sorrows, miracles and joys are coming together,

to enjoin your whole and holy Self to finally recognize this Light in you.

You are the Gift.
